Filmfare Awards are one the most prestigious awards in the country and this year Filmfare is celebrating its 67th year

Filmfare is the leading award show loved and adored by audiences and celebrities.

The ceremony will be held at the prestigious Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

The award will be held on August 30, 2022 and the event is scheduled to be premiered on September 9th, 2022

The Filmfare Awards are presented annually by The Times Group to honor both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Hindi language film industry of India.

The Filmfare ceremony is one of the oldest film events in India. The awards were first introduced in 1954

There were only five awards presented and the categories were Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Music Director.

Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor will be hosting the 67th edition of the Filmfare Awards. Fans can expect some great fun and entertainment.

Ranveer Singh, who has performed on stage on many occasions said hosting the event is a different challenge altogether.

During a press conference on Thursday evening, Singh said, “It is the first time I am hosting, I have danced a few times. Performing on stage is very different from hosting. According to me, hosting takes ten times more work, ten times the amount of time.”

Ranveer Singh was joined by Worldwide Media CEO Deepak Lamba, Filmfare editor Jitesh Pillai, and Manish Chopra, director and head of partnerships for India at Meta.

“It’s an honor to represent and host Filmfare Awards. I am extremely excited to host the show in front of a live audience. The energy in the house will be unprecedented. The team behind the show are some of the best names in the business, and together it is our endeavor to create a magical and memorable evening for our beloved audience and fraternity,” the actor was quoted as saying.

The award show will see a power-packed performance from Karthik Aaryan, Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Disha Patani.

The show will air on Colors and Colors Cineplex and will be telecasted live on Filmfare’s Facebook page, globally. Fans can also catch exclusive coverage, behind the scenes, and more across Filmfare’s website and social media handle.
