Farhan Akhtar reveals cast for ‘Don 3’; Kiara Advani and Ranveer Singh to set big-screen on fire
The well-known film director Farhan Akhtar has finally revealed the female lead for the movie Don 3. It was widely expected that Shah Rukh would be part of this movie as well. The fans are amazed to see Ranveer Singh was cast in the titular role.
On Tuesday it was confirmed by the director that Kiara Advani is set to be the leading lady in the movie. The announcement was made via a video confirming Kiara Advani as the heroine of the movie.

It will be the first time that neither Shah Rukh Khan nor Priyanka Chopra will be part of the ‘Don’ franchise. The original movie features Amitabh Bachchan as a huge hit. It was penned by Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar and revolutionized the Indian film industry.
Kiara Advani as the female lead
On Tuesday, Farhan Akhtar confirmed that Kiara Advani will be the heroine for Don 3. The director took to social media and put out a little trailer of sorts for the announcement. “Welcome to the Don Universe,” read the message while tagging the actress.
The elated actress wrote back in response, “Thrilled to be part of the iconic Don franchise and to be working with this incredible team! Seeking all your love and support as we set out on this exciting journey together.”

Ranveer Singh is set to play the role of Don which was essayed by Shah Rukh Khan previously. This wasn’t taken well by the fans as they called out the director for replacing the iconic star.
Speaking about this last year, Farhan Akhtar said to the magazine Variety, “These are things that we discussed over the years, I wanted to take a certain direction with the story, but somehow we (Shah Rukh Khan and I) just couldn’t find common ground. We just parted mutually knowing that it’s probably for the best. So that’s where it is.
While addressing having Ranveer Singh on board, this is what Farhan Akhtar had said “I’m really excited Ranveer’s on board. He’s so charged and so ready to go. It’s a big film, just purely from the point of view of an actor, it’s a big thing to do, and we’re really excited to have him on board. His energy is energizing us, so to speak.”
