EXCLUSIVE: Rakhi Sawant’s estranged husband Adil Khan Durrani says he doesn’t want projects C grade or lower!
Actor Adil Khan Durrani says he is highly picky when it comes to roles. He adds that he wants to be a part of a high-quality project, particularly on OTT. He confesses, “I’d like to concentrate on working on high-quality projects. I strive to work on excellent projects and do not want to be a part of anything that falls below a high quality, such as projects with a C grade or worse. My goal is to consistently strive for excellence in the work I do.”
When asked about his past, he responds, “I’m basically born and raised in this country. I was born and raised in Coorg, Madikeri, and another town called Napoklu. And we relocated to Mysore for our education. So, basically, my upbringing was completed in Mysore. Mysore is where I went to school and college, and got my MBA.”
Adil Khan Durrani reveals how he met Rakhi:
He further adds, “I own a vehicle dealership. I work in construction, and land development, and have a coffee plantation in Coorg. My company has offices in Mysore and Bangalore. I founded a business in both Mysore and Bangalore. And I wanted to grow my company. So I happened to run into a friend. I’m not going to say her name. Rakhi was introduced to me by her. Rakhi had a really close friend in her. That’s how I ended up in Mumbai, looking to build my business.”
Adil says, “I’ve done one music video. Tu Mere Dil Me Rehne Ke Layak Nahi is the title of the released video, which has 16-17 million views. And it’s one of 2022’s top albums. For this, I have received nearly five honours.”
Talking about his current aspirations, he says, “I aim to remain active in this industry because it has shown me immense affection and support during both my triumphs and struggles. The industry has always been really supportive of me, particularly for my record, and I am currently working on another project that is halfway completed. Witnessing such immense affection and support only feeds my ambition to stay in this field.”
