The festive season in India has commenced with the divine grace of Lord Ganesha. Indians are celebrating their favourite and auspicious festival with immense joy all around India. Moreover, the Ganpati fervor has taken centre stage in Mumbai. Even the Hindi film industry is in full swing with the celebrations. One such actress got into a candid chat with us about the festival. Bigg Boss fame Jasmin Bhasin reveals her Ganpati prayers and much more.

The actress says, “Ganesh Chaturthi is relevant to everyone and celebrated nationally. I have fond memories of Ganesh Chaturthi from my hometown Kota, Rajasthan. I used to see a lot of Jhakis and dress up for the occasion and eat a lot of mithai.”

Talking about how her experience in Mumbai is even more special, Jasmin said, “After coming here I realized the Ganpati fervor spreads over many days. The atmosphere totally changes. From the time I am in Mumbai, I have seen my friends getting Ganpati home, so I visit them and eat Modaks as well.”

Adding further she said, “I feel the festive celebration is very cleansing for the mind and atmosphere of the city and Ganesha is called Vighna Harta Ganesha for a reason. I think we should surrender to God, he knows what is right and faith can move mountains. I believe in living life one day at a time and have learnt it’s nice to be important but more important to be nice.”

On the work front, Jasmin Bhasin won the hearts of the audience with her phenomenal presence in the popular Indian reality show Bigg Boss. Moreover, she is loved by the audience for her performance in the Hindi TV serial Dil Se Dil Tak. The actress has also made her debut in the Tamil film industry in the year 2011 with the movie Vaanam.

Jasmin’s iconic role of Twinkle Taneja in Tashan-e-Ishq was a massive hit amongst the viewers. She is also very popular on social media. Jasmin enjoys a huge fan following on her official Instagram handle.
