Former Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik has gotten married for the third time in his life. He got married to Pakistani actress Sana Javed. Malik’s first marriage was with Indian national Ayesha Siddiqui. They both divorced each other before 2010. After a while, the two-time World Event winner claimed that he got married only because of pressure from Siddiqui.

“Some time in August 2005, when I was in Pakistan, my brother-in-law told me that his nephews, who were in Saudi had a teacher called Maha Siddiqui, who was telling everyone she was the Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik’s wife. He showed me a photograph of the teacher and I was shocked to see it was Maha apa,” Malik said.

In reply, Siddiqui said “When he started off, in 2002 his career wasn’t really doing too well. Even I had just started of my career, teaching. It took time for us to talk to our respective families. So by the time things started working for us it was too late, he had become a star and he was no longer interested in me. The only thing he saw was that ‘You don’t look that great, you’re not that pretty, you’re embarrassing me.’

Meanwhile, in around 2010, Malik and India Tennis legend Sania Mirza got married. Despite her marriage with the Pakistani national, Mirza continued to play for India till last year before retiring. However, in the last few years, the rumors of their separation were fueled due to the Tennis Legend deleting photos of them from her social media.

With the marriage of Malik to Javed, the separation rumors turn out to be true. Mirza’s father has stated that ‘khula’, Sania has divorced her husband. They have a child, named Izhaan Mirza-Malik.

Sana Javed, born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 1993, is a Pakistani actress who first made her debut in 2012 with a drama called Shehr-e-Zaat. She then played the lead in multiple Pakistani drama serials before eventually rising to fame with the series Khaani.’ She received major recognition at the Lux Style Awards for her role in the drama.

Besides, Sana also garnered views and praises for her performance in ‘Ruswai,’ for which she bagged the PISA Award for best actress critic.

On a personal front, Sana Javed tied the knot with popular singer and music composer Umar Jaswal back in 2020 in a private Nikah ceremony in Karachi. However, the couple faced trouble in paradise and separated accordingly in 2023.

Meanwhile, the actress remained linked with Shoaib Malik when the latter wished her on her birthday last year. Moreover, Malik lent his support to Sana Javed when the latter was accused of misconduct with makeup artists by a fellow Pakistani actress.
