Drake’s father played a practical joke on him by having a large pink bra thrown at him as he performed on stage. The incident is consistent with the recent pattern the rapper has been dealing with throughout his continuing ‘It’s All A Blur tour’ of live performances with 21 Savage. Drake’s eager fans have thrown their bras at him as he performs at a number of cities on the US leg of his tour.

The most notable incident occurred last month at his performance in New York City when a fan, later identified as Veronica Correia, made headlines by throwing her size 36G knickers at him.

Drake picked up the article of clothing, looked at the tag, and screamed, “Damn. 36G? Find this woman right away.” Soon later, Correia’s contact with Playboy was confirmed, and the singer is now formally associated with the company. Now it seems that Drake’s father has joined the trend and amused his son by hurling an absurdly large bra at him during his Los Angeles performance.

Dad pranks Drake

Someone placed the enormous pair of pants on Drake’s stage on Wednesday night (16 August), when he and 21 Savage performed as the co-headliners of a concert at the Kia Forum.

Drake held out the bra and made a joke about how the bra’s size might have put an end to the bra-throwing competition that had been going on during his tour. He said, “This may be the end of the story as we know it. He suggested that this might be the end of the road. I’m not sure if I really want to view it because if I do, I’ll start to think that aliens exist.”

Soon after, he learned that the oversized outfit was a gift from his father and read a note that went with it to his audience. This is from my dad, I see. Drake remarked, “Oh, this was made for me by my father.”

He read the note, which said, “Dad’s wishing ‘BIG’ things for you. I’m making sure you’re breastfeeding properly and I adore you! “, He said, before sarcastically adding, “What’s wrong with this man?”

Following the performance, it was made public that the rapper’s father had Toronto-based designer Zoba Martin create a custom bra for him. Martin posted videos of Drake wearing the bra on stage in addition to pictures of the design process on her Instagram feed.

In recent years, Drake and his father, Dennis Graham, have frequently discussed their close relationship in public. Graham said that he had acquired a tattoo of his son’s face on his arm just last year, and the artist gifted him a Bentley for $150,000 (£117,300) for his birthday in 2018.
