Support chimes in for Hanuma Vihari –

After the entire saga between Hanuma Vihari and Andhra Cricket Association, two huge names have made their voices heard. The names are none other than Pawan Kalyan and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu.

Pawan Kalyan first put out a lengthy Twitter post condemning the action from the state association. The 52-year-old also reminded Andhra Cricket all the feats and accomplishments of the cricketer.

Last year Hanuma Vihari had batted left–handed after suffering an injury. The 30-year-old has also played 16 times for India, with his last appearance coming in early 2022. Andhra Pradesh on Monday had lost to Madhya Pradesh by 4 runs in the Ranji Trophy Quarter-Finals.

Chandrababu Naidu tweeted and wrote “It’s shame that even the Andhra Cricket Association has succumbed to YSRCP’s vindictive politics. Hanuma Vihari, a brilliant international cricketer has been targeted to the point where he has vowed never to play for Andhra Pradesh. Hanuma, stay strong, your integrity and commitment to the game speaks volumes. We stand with you, and we’ll ensure justice prevails”

It is to be seen what the next course of action will be as far as the spat is concerned. The cricket association is defiant with its stance backing the allegations against the cricketer. Andhra Pradesh teammates meanwhile are in full support of their star player and former skipper. Many players signed a letter backing Hanuma Vihari after the entire episode took place on Monday.
