Day 2: England collapse, Aussies lose 3
Cummins and Starc picked up 7 wickets together to bowled out the English side on just 188 runs.
Australia take a big lead of 115 runs in the first innings but England bowlers once again managed to pick up early wickets as Australia lost 3 wickets before stumps on day 2.
Earlier the Australian team was all-out after scoring 303 runs in the first innings. Stuart Broad and Mark Wood picked up 3 wickets each.

England’s batting line-up failed again on a day that favored the bowlers as 17 wickets fell on day 2.
Pat Cummins led the Australian seamers with a superb 4 wicket haul to wrap up the English batting lineup on just 188 runs to get a 115 runs lead.

Australian pacers managed to keep the pink ball talking under the lights for an extended duration.
Cummins claimed 4 for 45 while Mitchell Starc took 3 for 53.
The No. 8 batter Chris Woakes was England’s top-scorer with 36 runs, followed by Joe Root’s 34 and Sam Billings’s 29 runs on debut.
Australia added another 62 runs in their overnight score of 241-6 at the start of the day.

Alex Carey also failed to make a big contribution as he got out after scoring only 24 runs while Nathan Lyon played a magnificent cameo of 31 runs off just 27 balls that included 3 sixes and a four.

England lost Rory Burns for a duck as he fell short in the second over who fell short of his crease and was run out for a duck.
Pat Cummins then picked up his first wicket by removing Zak Crawley for 18 runs. England was 2 down before the dinner break.
Malan and Root then made a 49 run stand with the moving pink ball but Australia totally changed the momentum of the game by picking up 4 big wickets within the gap of just 55 balls.
Pat Cummins dismissed both the set batters, Malan and Root in back-to-back overs. Malan scored 25 runs while Root was given LBW out on 34 runs.
Nathan Lyon then took an unavailable catch at point to send back Ben Stokes for just 4 runs.
Ollie Pope also got out on just 14 runs as Boland picked his first scalp of the match.
Chris Woakes and the debutant Sam Billings played small cameos to help their side to reach 188 runs before getting bowled out.
Sam Billings scored 29 runs while Chris Woakes was the top scorer with 36 runs.
Cummins took a brilliant 4 wicket haul and he was well supported by Mitchell Starc who picked up 3 wickets.
England picked late wickets before stumps
England pacers kept their side alive in this match by destroying the Australian top order once again in this match.
Australia lost their Warner and Labuschagne within the first 4 overs.
Stuart Broad dismissed Warner for the 14th time in his Test career.
Warner got out on a duck for the second in this match.
Usman Khawaja survived for some time but on the first ball of the 15th over, Woakes surprised him with a brutal bouncer that went into the hands of the keeper after touching his gloves.
Smith and the nightwatchman Scott Boland survived the remaining overs as Australia ended day 2 on 37-3 with a lead of 152 runs.
