‘Dangal’ fame child actor’s untimely death at 19 leaves fans heartbroken

Young Indian actress Suhani Bhatnagar has passed away at the age of just 19. The actress featured in the popular Bollywood movie Dangal which was a sensational hit across the globe in 2016. She played the role of Babita Kumari Phogat in the movie as a child actress at the age of just 11. She was appreciated for her role in the movie. Unfortunately, she has left the world in shock with her death. 

The movie featured some of the top actors like Aamir Khan, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Sheikh, and Aparshakti Khurrana. Suhani breathed her last in Faridabad on the 16th of February while getting treated for an injury in AIMS. While the exact reason behind her death is not yet sure, reports claim that Bhatnagar was suffering from a leg injury about a few days back. 

After the mammoth success of Dangal, the actress did not appear in as many movies. She decided to take a break from acting in order to concentrate on her studies. Suhani lived in Sector 17 of Faridabad in Haryana. It seems that Suhani suffered from water retention while undergoing treatment for her leg fracture. Reports claim it led to the untimely death of Suhani.  

Fans devastated by Suhani Bhatnagar’s death

Fans could not digest the fact that Bhatnagar left the world. It is being reported that the parents of Suhani are shocked at the news. While they have not yet commented on the same, it is being reported that her body will be cremated in Ajronda crematorium in Sector 15, Faridabad. The fans are expressing their disappointment by commenting on the latest Instagram post of the ‘Dangal’ actress. 

Back in 2016, the Bollywood movie made news for its incredible work. It was watched by audiences from all parts of the world. It was directed by Nitesh Tiwari and the plot was regarding the rise of the Indian wrestlers like Geeta Kumari Phogat and Babita Kumari Phogat under the guidance of their father, Mahavir Singh Phogat. The two wrestlers won India a lot of medals in CWG and the Asiads.
