Cristiano Ronaldo turned 39 on the 5th of February 2024. The star player from Portugal is regarded as one of the greatest Football players of all time. The ability of Ronaldo to score goals is insane and second to none. Since his debut in 2003, the experienced campaigner has gained a lot of fans across the globe. When in flow, he seems to be unstoppable.

Ronaldo has a whopping 123 goals for Portugal in 200 matches. In the Spanish League, he has the record of reaching the milestone of 150 goals, which is the fastest as he took just 140 matches to set the record. In nine seasons with Real Madrid, he crossed 451 goals and achieved the record of the player with the most goals for Portugal. Not many have been able to score more than a hundred goals for their international team in Football.

From 2011-12 to 2017-18, Ronaldo scored ten or more goals in each season in the Champions League for Real Madrid. In four of those seasons, Real Madrid won the championship. He has the greatest number of goals for a player in international matches. He surpassed Ali Daei’s record of 109 goals and became the player with the most international goals. It was a great moment for the Al-Nassr star.

Major trophies with two different clubs

In the early 2000s, Ronaldo was arguably at his peak. In the period 2011 to 2014, the star player scored more than 60, 63, 69, and 61 goals respectively, and showcased an incredible level of consistency. Ronaldo is the only player to win all the major trophies with two clubs. He won the Champions League, Club World Cup, domestic league, domestic trophy, and domestic Super Cup with Real Madrid and Manchester United.

As Cristiano represented Portugal in 200 international matches, he became the first player to do so. The 39-year-old has won the Ballon d’Or five times, the second-highest for a player behind Lionel Messi. In 2016, Portugal won the Euro, and the star player played a key role in it. The Football WC seems to be the only trophy eluding the trophy cabinet of the star player.
