With less than a month left in the India vs. Pakistan game in the World Cup, the umpires for the game have been named. Renowned umpires, Richard Kettleborough (England) and Marais Erasmus (South Africa) will officiate in the game. Notably, the English umpire has been considered unlucky by the fans for India. Apparently, in the last few years, Richard has officiated in India’s knockout games.

The Men In Blue have lost all those games. The recent one was the World Test Championship final 2023 against Australia. On the other hand, Erasmus was caught having some fun with Pakistan skipper Babar Azam late last year. In a picture that went viral, Azam tried to align himself with the tummy of the South African during a home series.

Talking about the India-Pakistan game, it will be played on October 14. Till now, India remains unbeaten against their Asian neighbors after playing seven games since 1992.
