CBFC demands reduction of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s intimate scenes in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has decided to remove a “scene of a sex act” from the upcoming romantic movie ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which is releasing on February 9th.”  Bollywood Hungama claims that the movie also has “audio medication.”

The CBFC has “reduced the scene of sex acts by 25%,” per the article. Additionally, nine seconds of the sequence were censored, according to the list. The intimate scene, which was formerly 36 seconds lengthy, is now only 27 seconds. ‘Drink’ has been used in place of ‘daru (alcohol)’ in the second part of the movie.

Additionally, the CBFC requested that the Hindi anti-smoking static message be added in a larger, easier-to-read font. On February 2, the CBFC approved the movie with a U/A certificate following the revisions. According to the censor certificate, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has a duration of 143.15 minutes, or two hours, 23 minutes, and 15 seconds.

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon play the movie’s lead actors. The film investigates an impossibly romantic tale set in the unexplored realm of artificial intelligence (AI). Shahid portrays a robot scientist in the movie who eventually falls in love and weds Kriti’s character, Sifra, a highly intelligent female robot. The previously released teaser revealed that Shahid eventually developed feelings for the robot.

Directors Aradhana Sah and Amit Joshi wrote and directed the movie. It’s been produced by Laxman Utekar, Jyoti Deshpande, and Dinesh Vijan. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya will be out in theatres on February 9. In addition to Shahid and Kriti, Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia are featured in the movie.
