The actor claimed that his father wanted him to become a doctor in an old interview with Hindustan Times. He claimed to be from Gopalganj, Bihar, where there were only two vocations recognised: engineer or doctor. “My village is (situated so much) in the) interior that there are still no well-built roads there,” he said.
Pankaj Tripathi, in another interview with Mashable, discussed how his father is not quite aware of what he does in the film industry. “He is not overly proud of my accomplishments. Even my father is unaware of my work in the film industry. He has not yet seen what a movie theatre looks like on the inside. He can view my work if someone displays it to him on their computer or on the newly installed television in my home,” the man added.
On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi’s latest film OMG 2’s 11-day journey came to a successful conclusion with a predicted collection of 4.00 crore, further reiterating its dependable box office performance. OMG 2 has amassed a total of 118.31 crore in just 11 days, demonstrating its obvious appeal and ongoing success. It remains to be seen how this thrilling cinematic trip will continue to develop in the upcoming weeks as the film’s audience continues to expand.
