Bollywood’s King Khan Shah Rukh Khan drops release date of his next drama-comedy ‘Dunki’

Recently, the superstar held a success bash and press conference for Jawan. It was an eventful night with lots of fun and banter amongst the star-studded ensemble. Jawan is ruling at the box office globally. It has broken all the records and is setting new barriers. Concerning this, the filmmakers of Jawan hosted a success bash and a press conference. The success party was a hit. The pictures and videos from the event have gone viral on the internet. In a viral video, we even saw Deepika Padukone shaking a leg on the song Chaleya. After a candid chat with the lead stars about Jawan and its success, SRK dropped the truth about Dunki’s release date.

Shah Rukh Khan on delivering blockbusters:

The Bollywood superstar went on to confirm a Christmas release for his upcoming Rajkumar Hirani-helmed movie. Until now, the makers of Dunki have only dropped its first look. The audience is eagerly waiting to find out more about the movie. Talking about its release, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I am not trying to show off. God has been very kind that we have had Pathaan. God has been even kinder with Jawan. We started on 26 January, Republic Day, it’s a good, auspicious day. Then on Janmashtami – Lord Krishna’s birthday – we released this film. And now on Christmas, we will bring Dunki. National integration Rakhta hoon (I keep national integration).”

For the unversed, SRK had two of the massive blockbusters released in one year. Both of his films were released on a special date. Pathaan was dropped at the theatres on the Republic Day of India, that is 26th of January. Now, Jawan was released in the cinemas on the auspicious day of Janmashtami which was on 7th September 2023. Now, as per SRK’s statement, his upcoming film Dunki will be released during the holiday season on Christmas.
