Bollywood lovebirds Deepika and Ranveer to enter parenthood

Star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have now confirmed the ongoing rumours regarding pregnancy. They are now expecting their first child, as confirmed by their Instagram post shared recently.

Within minutes of the announcement, fans started flooding the comment section congratulating the couple, including fellow actors. These included Anil Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Madhuri Dixit, Jacqueline Fernandez, and many more.

Rumours regarding the same were recently floating around. Deepika was spotted covering her midriff region while wearing a saree at the red carpet at the 77th British Academy Film Awards. Fans were suspicious as to why the star would cover her midriff wearing a saree.

Deepika And Ranveer got married back in 2018 and recently celebrated their fifth anniversary. As per the post, the couple is expecting the baby by September 2024, this has led to another string of speculations saying that the actress is likely in her second trimester.

Actress ready to step into parenthood

In an earlier interview with Vogue, Deepika talked about eventually becoming a parent and said her husband also loves children. “Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family,” she said.

Both actors are known for their humble attitude towards their fans. Deepika said her upbringing is all thanks to her family, and they also wish to teach the same to their children.

She also plans to integrate the same values into their child. “In this industry, it’s easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don’t want that to change,” she said.

Deepika’s upcoming project is with Prabhas in a sci-fi thriller ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Meanwhile, Ranveer will be seen back in the role of Simmba in Singam 3 alongside Deepika and other actors.
