The ODI World Cup 2023 is just months away. As such, fans have already started making video edits predicting their winners from the grand finale in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. One such video surfaced online on Saturday and it went viral in no time. It was shared by a popular Pakistani Sports Journalist named Farid Khan.

The video showed Pakistan winning the World Cup final on November 19, 2023 and had a voice-over of Peter Drury’s iconic commentary on Lionel Messi and Argentina’s FIFA World Cup victory last year in Qatar. The video has sparked reactions among fans while the journalist has been trolled brutally by fans. It also shows that India were the runners-up whom Pakistan defeated in the final.

India vs Pakistan World Cup 2023 clash will take place on October 15

Talking of the ODI World Cup 2023, it will be hosted by India between October 5 and November 19. The schedule for the tournament was made public by the Apex Cricket Council earlier. It is set to start with a rematch of 2019’s final between England and New Zealand. However, the headline clash remains the one between India and Pakistan on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

But, before the two arch-rivals clash in the marquee event they’ll also get a chance to play each other in the Asia Cup. The schedule of the Asia Cup ODI 2023 was also made public and it gives fans the chance of up to three games between India and Pakistan if both teams progress through the knockout games.

In light of the headline game between India vs Pakistan game at Ahmedabad, the prices of air tickets and hotel bookings have soared to new heights. At the same time, Trains are already booked beyond capacity. Earlier a local daily called the Ahmedabad Mirror reported that fans are also booking hospital beds to ensure their stay during the clash between India and Pakistan on October 15, 2023.
