The Apex Cricket Body has extended a special invitation to all former World Cup-winning captains to attend the highly anticipated ODI World Cup 2023 final between India and Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. 

This unique event will see cricket legends such as Clive Lloyd, Kapil Dev, Allan Border, Arjuna Ranatunga, Steve Waugh, Ricky Ponting, MS Dhoni, Michael Clarke, and Eoin Morgan coming together for a memorable occasion. To celebrate the significance of their achievements, all former skippers will be presented with a special blazer on the morning of November 19, adding an extra layer of prestige to the grand event. 

However, it is unfortunate that the former legendary Pakistan captain Imran Khan will be absent, currently serving his time in prison. Despite his absence, the gathering promises to be a nostalgic celebration of cricket history, uniting icons who have left an indelible mark on the sport.
