‘Bhai dhyan rakhna yaar world cup year hai’ – Fans react as Ravindra Jadeja shares pictures of him chilling on yacht ahead of Asia Cup and ODI World Cup
Following the quick end of India vs. West Indies opening test in Dominica, Indian star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has rightfully taken time off, and the star bowler shared photos on social media. Jadeja was seen resting on a yacht in the pictures that he uploaded. Notably, during the first Test, Jadeja’s five wickets and 37 unbeaten runs in the first innings helped India beat the West Indies in only three days.
Unlike last time, spectators were eager to advise the India star concerning the risks of the yacht since they understood how crucial Jadeja was to the squad. Notably, the all-around player fell while riding a ski board, twisted his knee, and felt forced to pull out of the contest (first from the Asia Cup and subsequently from the T20 World Cup) in 2022. On top of that, the great spinner was seen in magnificent form in the recently concluded IPL as well as during the WTC Final.
India thrashed the West Indies by an innings and 141 runs in the first Test
Notably, India thrashed the West Indies by an innings and 141 runs in the first Test that took just three days, owing primarily to Ravichandran Ashwin’s 12 wickets, notably seven in the second innings, and hundreds from captain Rohit Sharma (103) and debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal (171) in the first innings.
The West Indies were bundled out for 150 while batting first, whereas India built up 421/5 before concluding their innings on Day 3. In the first innings, Ashwin took five wickets for 60 runs in 24.3 overs while guiding the Caribbean nation to a miserable 150 runs in 64.3 overs. Ravindra Jadeja, meanwhile, (3/26) also contributed with wickets.
Meanwhile, the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team will be determined to show off their abilities, make changes, and battle aggressively for achievement on each journey. The squad will get many chances throughout these tours to come back, regain their place in the World Test Championship, and showcase their strength both at home and overseas.
