The Indian Cricket Board has announced the men’s team that will represent India at the upcoming 19th Asian Games. As part of the Asian Games 2023, which will take place in China from September 23 to October 8, the men’s cricket competition will be played in a T20 format from September 28 to October 8. However, some fans were upset with the selection as talented middle-order batter Nitish Rana wasn’t considered by the selectors.
Meanwhile, Nitish’s wife Saachi Marwah has voiced over his husband’s snub from the Indian squad in Asian Games 2023. Saachi took to Twitter and expressed her disappointment after Nitish didn’t get a place in the squad despite performing well in domestic cricket and the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Talking about India’s squad for the major tournament, the team will have a variety of outstanding young cricketers from India, with Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma standing out. Both players were well-deservedly chosen as a result of their strong performances in the just-completed 16th season of the Indian Premier League.
