If the Sri Lanka vs Pakistan game gets washed out, the defending champions, Lanka will reach the final due to their superior NRR. On the other hand, if the game happens, the winner will play India in the final.

As India has beaten Sri Lanka by 41 runs in a low-scoring thriller, they have also ensured Pakistan remains alive for the race to the final.
