Australia’s domestic One-Day Cup 2023/24 has commenced on September 24 at the Allan Border Field. The current champions, Western Australia, who clinched their 16th title earlier this year, have begun the season impressively by defeating the Queensland Bulls in the opening match.

The tournament follows a league format, with each team playing seven matches. The top two teams from the league phase will advance to the final showdown. The date and location for the final match, are set for February 25, 2024, however, the venue for it is yet to be confirmed. The competition will include six regional teams associated with Cricket Australia: Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, and South Australia.

Games will be held consistently from late September through mid-November, with a pause during the Big Bash League. The competition will recommence for its final rounds of matches in February 2024.
