Pakistan Cricket team arrived in India on September 27 to start their preparations for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. They have also played their first warm-up game on September 29 which was against the 2019 World Cup runners-up New Zealand. The Men in Green suffered a massive loss after the Blackcaps chased the monumental target of 345 runs in just 43.4.

However, their first match of the mega event will be against the Netherlands on October 6 in Hyderabad. But the fans are waiting to see them clash against India on October 14 in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s vice-captain and star allrounder Shadab Khan recently revealed his favourite Indian players. The star allrounder picked India captain Rohit Sharma as his favourite Indian batter while Kuldeep Yadav as his favourite Indian bowler.

“As a batter, I really like Rohit Sharma. He’s very difficult and dangerous to bowl to once he’s set. Among the bowlers, I like Kuldeep because I’m also a leg-spinner. It’s very difficult to bowl on flat tracks in these conditions,” Shadab was quoted as saying by Circle of Cricket.

Pakistan to play the entire World Cup without Naseem Shah

Shadab recently appeared in India vs Pakistan clash in the Asia Cup 2023 where the Indian batters thrashed the Pakistani bowlers. Shadab was also one of the bowlers who got smashed for multiple boundaries by the Indian batters. Rohit also smashed some huge sixes against Shahdab. However, the leggie had the last laugh by dismissing Rohit.

During the Asia Cup 2023, the Men in Green suffered a huge setback when their premium fast bowler Naseem Shah got injured and ruled out of the entire World Cup. It’d be interesting to see how will they perform in the absence of their key pacer Naseem.
