Adipurush, directed by Om Raut stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh in the lead roles.

The first look poster and official teaser trailer of Adipurush are set to be launched on 2nd October on the banks of river Sarayu, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh as announced by Om Raut.

Adipurush is the second movie of director Om Raut whose previous film was Tanhaji – The Unsung Hero starring Ajay Devgn in the titular role.

Both Telugu superstar Prabhas and Kriti Sanon will be present at the launch accompanied by director Om Raut and producer Bhushan Kumar.

Adipurush is based on the epic Ramayana which showcases the win of good over evil. Ayodhya is the land of Lord Ram which makes this launch additionally special. The teaser will also give us an idea of the grandeur of the movie.

Adipurush will see Prabhas playing the role of Raghava (Lord Ram), Kriti Sanon playing the role of Janaki (Sita), Saif Ali Khan of Ravana, and Sunny Singh will be seen as Lakshman.

This film is said to have all the ingredients like heavy VFX to make it a visual spectacle for the audience.

Produced by T-series films and Retrophiles, Adipurush is set to release on 12th January 2023, in IMAX and 3D. It will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam in theatres.
