Following the claims of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, actor Chandrachur Singh has said that Salman’s take on no work on offer for Chandrachur during Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is false. Singh said that Salman’s allegation was not right. A video from Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee with Karan’ went viral on the internet. In the video, Karan was seen talking about his stint with Salman in the movie.

Karan recalled how the role of Salman was rejected by the likes of Saif Ali Khan and Chandrachur Singh himself. “I remember the first time I ever came to your zone to narrate my first film to you. Saif and Chandrachur had said no to the role. And you said that no one’s going to do your role, you come and meet me tomorrow,” said Karan in his show about the role in the movie.

Salman was one of the guests in the show. The superstar felt that it was not difficult for Karan to find Shah Rukh Khan to play the lead role in the movie, but rather to get actors to play the role of Aman in the movie. Salman backed up his claims by saying that Saif and Chandrachur, who were first consulted for the roles, were not doing any movie at that point in time.

Saif and Chandrachur at that point in time were doing nothing:  Salman Khan

“It was not difficult for you to get a Shah Rukh Khan in the film but it was very difficult for you to get this casting (Aman) because Saif at that point of time was doing nothing. Chandrachur was doing nothing. Even they refused it. I did it, Karan. I saw talent, I saw genius in you. And after that you never worked with me,” said Salman in the show.

In a social media post, Chandrachur replied to this allegation of Salman. Singh said that he had many movies in the line. “Jhoot Salman ka. Mere paas Josh, Daag The Fire, Kya Kehna, Silsila Hai Pyaar Ka, etc. This, I made a choice,” said Chandrachur in the comments section. Later on, he deleted the comment.
