‘Accha isiliye Ayodhya gayi thi’ – Fans react as makers of ‘Emergency’ starring Kangana Ranaut announce its date of release

Bollywood renowned actress Kangana Ranaut and the makers of ‘Emergency’ have announced the release date of their upcoming movie. Taking to X, Kangana confirmed the release date and asked the viewers to set their date to watch the movie on the big screens. Kangana will be seen playing the role of former Indian PM Indira Gandhi in the movie. Ranaut would be hoping to deliver a much-needed hit.

It has been a long time since Kangana came up with a hit movie. She was appreciated for her work in ‘Manikarnika’, ‘Tejas‘, ‘Dhaakad’, and so on. While they were all good in regard to her acting performance, one could not help but judge the movie based on the box office numbers. Most of her recent ventures have not been able to gather enough numbers at the box office.

Kangana had recently visited the inaugural ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The star actress expressed her happiness about visiting the event and claimed to be grateful for witnessing the historic event. Just a day after the event took place, the makers of the movie ‘Emergency’ have come out with the release date of the movie. They confirmed the same taking to X.

Release date of ‘Emergency’ 

Taking to X, Kangana announced the release date of her upcoming venture. The story would be regarding the period of ‘Emergency’ in the 1970s, which received mixed opinions from the Indian citizens. It was revealed that the movie would be released worldwide on the 14th of June. Kangana asked the viewers to witness the ‘Most feared and fiercest PM of India’, Indira Gandhi, on the big screens.

Announcing #Emergency on 14th June 2024 Witness history come alive as the most feared & fiercest Prime Minister #IndiraGandhi thunders into cinemas #Emergency in cinemas on 14th June 2024,” wrote Kangana on X. The movie is directed and produced by Kangana herself. Zee Studios will help the movie in getting released in different parts of the world.
