Aamir Khan unveils ‘Sitare Zameen Par,’ promises heartwarming tale similar to ‘Taare Zameen Par’

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is set to captivate audiences once again with his latest project, Sitare Zameen Par. This upcoming film has generated immense anticipation as it promises to continue the sorrowful theme that touched hearts in Taare Zameen Par while adding a fresh layer of entertainment.

In Taare Zameen Par, Aamir explored the emotional journey of a dyslexic child, and it left an indelible mark on viewers. Now, with Sitare Zameen Par, he aims to move ’10 steps ahead’ while ensuring that the movie offers not just tears, but also entertainment. This intriguing statement hints at a perfect blend of heartwarming storytelling and engaging entertainment. 

“I have not spoken about it publicly and I won’t be able to say much now also. But I can tell the title. The title of the film is ‘Sitare Zameen Par’. You remember my film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and the name of this film is ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ because we are moving 10 steps ahead with the same theme. ‘Taare Zameen Par’ was an emotional film, this film will make you laugh. That film made you cry, this one will entertain you.” Aamir was quoted as saying by Koimoi.

Aamir’s commitment to meaningful cinema and his ability to balance it with entertainment has made him a stalwart in the Indian film industry. Aamir said that they would be taking forward the same theme which was used in Taare Zameen Par but this time it’d be the opposite as the special child would be helping Aamir.

“But the theme is the same, that’s why we kept this name very thoughtfully. We all have flaws, we all have weaknesses, but we all also have something special. So, we are taking forward this theme but this time, the character of the special child — Ishaan in that film which my character helps him in ‘Taare Zameen Par’ — in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, those 9 boys, who have their own issues help me. It’s the opposite.” Aamir said.
