The name is Endrick, you will hear it a lot in the future!
Endrick – born in 2006 – is regarded as one of the best talents in world football.
The Brazilian forward has represented his national team at U17 level, scoring five goals in four games.
Moreover, he has 10 goals contributions (9 goals, 1 assist) in 16 games across all competitions for Brazilian club, Palmeiras this season.
“Real Madrid are closing in on the signing of Endrick from Palmeiras. PSG have left the race for the Brazilian teenager after seeing a bid turned down by Palmeiras.”, noted journalist Fabrizio Romano said.
In fact, the forward wanted to move to Madrid as it’s a favoured destination for young Brazilians like Vinicius Jr and Rodrigo.
Palmeiras expected a deal to be completed by the end of the year, and this has now been finalised.
As per the deal, Madrid have agreed to pay Endrick’s release clause of €60m, but are also paying an extra €12m to cover the taxes required by Spanish authorities when a Brazilian footballer moves to La Liga.
Endrick’s father and representatives have insisted that Palmeiras will not lose out financially and Real have obliged to meet the release clause, with personal terms now also agreed.
Endrick will now spend the next 18 months with Palmeiras before making the move to Spain.
FIFA regulations prevent players from moving abroad before the age of 18.
