Delhi Capitals received a piece of bad news ahead of the upcoming IPL 2022.
Their star player Prithvi Shaw failed to clear the ‘Yo-Yo’ test.
The current Yo-Yo test qualification score is 16.5 for men and it has been learned that the DC opener has scored less than 15.
The former U-19 World Cup-winning captain, is currently, not a part of the central contract.
Unless he improves his fitness, all avenues to enter the Indian team might close.
The players had to undergo fitness tests at the end of the camp, before joining their IPL teams.
However, this result doesn’t stop him from playing in the IPL 2022.
We hope Prithvi regains his fitness soon as he has the ability to destroy any bowling order.
And he is too good a talent to go waste!
