Talking about the match, Orcas won the toss and opted to bowl first. The decision worked initially as they sent two New York batters back to the pavilion inside the powerplay. But then came the Caribbean powerhouse Nicholas Pooran, who smashed 68 runs off just 34 deliveries which included 3 fours and 7 sixes.

Skipper Kieron Pollard and tailender Trent Boult also produced quick cameos and helped the team to achieve a monumental total of 194 runs in 20 overs. Imad Wasim produced a magnificent spell in which he took 2 wickets while conceding just 23 runs in his 4 overs quota. Harmeet Singh also managed to take 2 wickets after leaking 21 runs in 3 overs.

Anwar departed in the 11th over after playing a brilliant knock of 51 runs off just 30 balls which included 6 fours and 3 sixes.

But Klassen emerged as the hero for his team and overshadowed every batter.
