Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has broken almost all previous records of Hindi cinema as the movie has been loved by the fans a lot and also doing great business at the box office. The movie earned around INR 75 crores on the first day of its release in India.

The movie featured multiple stars from both Bollywood and South film industry. Popular actor Priyamani is also one of them who has done a lot of action scenes in the movie. Priyamani, who has earlier worked with Shah Rukh in a dance number in Chennai Express, revealed how caring Shah Rukh was during the shoot. The actor said that she loves and adores Shah Rukh the most after her husband.

“Frankly, I love and adore Shah Rukh Khan the most after my hubby Mustafa Raj because he is very caring and warm as a person. Despite his superstardom, he is down-to-earth and lovable and takes care of his co-stars. He was the same during my previous film with him ‘Chennai Express’, in which I danced with him for the chartbuster ‘1234 get on the dance floor’.

After a decade, I got this opportunity in ‘Jawan’ where I have a lot of scenes with him and it is always a challenge to match acting strides with him. SRK spreads an aura around him and energizes the whole crew. I’ll cherish the moments I have worked with him forever.” Priyamani was quoted as saying by Deccan Chronicle.

Why should a heroine be limited to romantic scenes?: Priyamani

Priyamani talked about her upcoming projects in Bollywood and said that she has an upcoming project with veteran actor Ajay Devgan, titled Maidan. After this, she will be working in a Sangeeth Sivan directorial project. She also expressed that a heroine shouldn’t be limited to romantic scenes and also do some action roles as well.

“Why should a heroine be limited to romantic scenes? We are pretty faces who can also kick some ass when needed. Many of us are doing it with ease. Indian cinema has changed, so let us shed this stereotyping business. I am doing a Hindi film ‘Maidan’ opposite Ajay Devgn which is getting ready for release. I have signed another Bollywood film with director Sangeeth Sivan and another project. Touchwood! Things are going well.” she said.

Following India’s heavy loss to Australia in the first Test of the series, Australian media highlighted key concerns for the Indian team, including Rohit Sharma’s performance as captain. Pat Cummins and his team’s emphatic win by 209 runs sparked discussions about India’s bowling strategy and batting collapse.

Australian newspapers like The Age underscored Mitchell Starc’s lethal bowling display as a stark reminder of his prowess in Test cricket. Starc’s fiery spell dismantled India’s top order, a performance seen as pivotal in Australia’s dominant victory. The media also pointed out the pressure mounting on Rohit Sharma for tactical shortcomings, including field placements and decision-making under challenging circumstances.

India’s batting lineup faltered against Australia’s aggressive bowling, with only a few players resisting. Critics emphasized that the Indian team’s inability to adapt to the pink-ball conditions in Adelaide cost them dearly. The media also praised Australia for its disciplined approach, particularly the consistency of its pace attack, which Starc and Cummins led.

As the series progresses, this defeat puts India under immense pressure to bounce back, especially with the spotlight on Rohit Sharma’s leadership and the team’s resilience. Fans now await India’s response in the next Test.
